I played around with this site, replacing all occurrences of ‘Le’’ (with U+2019 Right Single Quotation Mark) with ‘Le′’ (with U+2032 Prime)… and I’m torn.
It made sense logically, considering that I use “le-prime” as an alternative pronunciation.
But, I’m not sure I like the looks of it… especially with the Fredericka the Great font:
- with U+2032: Le′
- with U+2019: Le’
So, I’m still torn… aesthetically, I prefer U+2019, but semantically, U+2032 makes more sense.
In the end, though, I decided to keep ’ (U+2019 Right Single Quotation Mark), letting aesthetics win over semantics… at least for now. I might revisit this another time.
[Reminder to self: I have the change to U+2032 in a branch with that name]
